The Texas Astronomical Society of Dallas (TAS) is pleased to host the 2006 Astronomical League Convention and Exhibits (ALCON/EXPO) August 4-5, 2006. The convention will be in Arlington, Texas at the E.H. Hereford University Center on the University of Texas at Arlington (UT Arlington) campus. The Astronomical League’s Annual Council meeting will be held August 3, 2006 also on the UT Arlington campus.

Onsite dormitory accommodations will be available as well as a variety of hotels and motels in various price ranges.

In addition to excellent speakers, the convention will have an astronomical trade show and vendor exposition, special programs in UT Arlington’s new state-of-the-art digital planetarium, and the Astronomical League’s Annual Awards Banquet.
